Humanitarian Resources Consulting is run by Shana O'Brien. Shana has over 10 years of experience in the humanitarian sector. While working for a variety of organizations both on-the-ground and at HQ-level, she saw the impact of human resources on the well-being of her herself and her teammates, the dynamics of her teams, the culture of her organizations, and ultimately the ability of humanitarians to best help people in need. This led to her decision to begin her own consultancy in 2017.

Outside of her career, you can usually find Shana playing board games, exercising, discussing feminist issues, or  volunteering at an animal shelter.
